Marlu Jukurrpa (Kangaroo Dreaming)

This Dreaming belongs to Japaljarri / Jungarrayi men. A Father and son were following Kanyarla (Rock Wallaby), like a small kangaroo. They started their journey from Munyunpu near Mt Denison and travelled to another place called Kirripungu (near Wakurlpa), north east of Yuendumu. The print shows the Kanyarla track sitting down in the shade, at place called Kirripungu, (the concentric circle in the middle). The Kanyarla (rock wallaby) tracks are shown as arrow like shapes. The small circles represents mulju (soakage water) and the wavy lines are small worms that kanyarla have for feed.
