Getting to Yuendumu

Warlukurlangu Artists is located in Yuendumu, 290 km northwest of Alice Springs. Please contact us before embarking on a trip to Yuendumu. Sometimes seasonal and cultural factors affect our opening hours.

Yuendumu is accessed via the Tanami Road, which runs west off the Stuart Highway 25km north of Alice Springs. Tanami road is sealed all the way to Yuendumu and beyond. Part of the road is single lane bitumen. Please make sure you get off the road if a road train is coming in the opposite direction.

The Tanami Road can be affected by rain. The Northern Territory Government publishes a condition report for the Tanami Road, which is also available by phone 1800 246 199.
